Tenho estado muito ausente eu sei...mas voltei para vos falar um pouco sobre uma das maiores designers de moda do mundo...quem não gostaria de ter uma das suas criaçōes?

Pois só para vos dizer que isto só se faz uma vez na nossa vida, ou duas...:)

Rendi-me e decidi investir numa das suas malas!!! E decidi colocar aqui alguma informação sobre ela para quem quiser saber ainda mais :)

Stella McCartney is a British fashion designer best known for her eponymous label. Born in September 1971 to former Beatle Paul McCartney and musician, photographer and animal rights activist Linda McCartney, she spent her formative years travelling the world with her parents who, at the time, were both in the band Wings.

Her interest in fashion started at an early age and by 13 she had begun to make her own clothes. Three years later she undertook an internship with Christian Lacroix, after which she completed an art foundation at Ravensbourne College and then a degree in fashion design at Central Saints Martins. After graduating, she shadowed Savile Row tailor Edward Sexton to learn more about the craft.

Following in the footsteps of her mother Linda, she is a staunch supporter of animal rights and a strict vegetarian - she refuses to use leather or fur in any of her designs. Instead, her shoes are made of vinyl or plastic and all belts and bags are made from raffia and fabric.

She was awarded the title of Designer of the Year at theBritish Style Awards in November 2007."My team really deservethis," she said upon her acceptance. "I couldn't possibly managewith three children under the age of three without them." Otherawards she has received include being named Glamour'sWoman of the Year in 2009 and the British Fashion Council's RedCarpet Award in 2011. She was also named in the TIME 100 -a list of the 100 most influential people in the world.

"I suppose what I'm trying to do with my work is to make [the women who buy my clothes] feel just as important as they think... famous people are. Becauset hey are!" she said.

Adorei o dia de hoje. Finalmente e após muito tempo tivemos um dia lindo de Primavera aqui em Uk.

Os dias vao crescendo e com eles a luz que vai fazer questao de os acompanhar...depois de tantos dias cinzentos não imaginam o grande significado do dia de hoje.

Por vezes as coisas simples são tão suficientes para mudar o nosso dia...estou feliz pela chegada da Primavera...e porque hoje resolvi parar e reflectir um pouco e consegui ver o mar...

Mesmo com algum frio soube me a um dia de verão...porque sentimos a ausência de coisas que nos lembram o berço, o nosso lar, a nossa cultura e acima de tudo a nossa terra...nunca pensei que sentisse tanta necessidade de Sol e Mar.

Um desejo a ser realizado...um dia quem sabe...será altura de voltar de vez a casa.

As most of you know my real passion is water!!!

So I decided to share with you some reasons to persuade you to start swimming as soon as possible :)

Uns dizem que foi fácil outros nem por isso...

São várias as razões que nos levaram a mudar de vida em tão pouco tempo.

Quando somos jovens e acabamos o curso pensamos em conquistar o mundo lá fora cá dentro até que chegam as desilusões...aquela resposta que não chega, aquela entrevista que correu mal, a falta de experiência, a oportunidade que não é para nós...e vamos esperando e desesperando até que decidimos mudar de área a curto ou mesmo a médio/longo prazo.

A partir deste momento cabe a cada um de nós decidir...

Esperamos pela oportunidade em Portugal que um dia quem sabe há de aparecer...ou simplesmente fazemos as malas e voamos para outro País onde lutamos dia a dia para conseguir vingar.

Também existe o outro lado da moeda, muitos de nós não estavam assim tão bem em Portugal...um emprego que poderia terminar já no mês seguinte e o desespero de não saber o dia de amanhã...

Enfermeira desde 2010 atualmente a residir em Uk. Após completar curso embarquei numa grande aventura através da Marinha Portuguesa como Enfermeira Militar onde estive durante cerca de 3 anos.

Em 2014 decidi mudar a minha vida por completo e embarquei em mais uma aventura, a de ir trabalhar para o estrangeiro...estou em Inglaterra e por aqui irei continuar até que a alma seja bem pequena.

Desde os meus cinco anos que mantenho a mesma paixao que é a Natação Sincronizada e que continuo a alimentar sempre que possível. A água desde sempre foi o meu porto seguro.

Vaidosa mas muito imperfeita é como me vejo em frente ao espelho. Adoro sentir me bonita.

Decidi criar este meu universo paralelo onde dedico me a partilhar momentos de bem estar, bem como, as minhas escolhas do dia a dia de forma a motivar as pessoas a fazerem mais por elas mesmas. Este é o meu grande desafio.

ABOUT ME

General Nurse since 2010 and living in UK at the moment.

After finishing my degree I decided to apply to Portuguese Navy where I worked as a military nurse for about three years.

In 2014, I changed completely my life with this new adventure... England.

Since five, that I have a huge passion for Synchronized Swimming and I keep in touch when possible.

The water is my comfort zone.

Vain but quite imperfect is what I see in front of my mirror every day.

I have created this blog just to share moments of well being and some of my choices.

My real plan is to motivate you to take care of yourself bit more.

When you see people recovering everyday from a surgery you start thinking about life and how fragile we are...

 

Take care of yourself as you deserve it.
